Global silicon wafer shipments are expected to grow, and new wafer fabs are gradually put into operation

According to the forecast of Asia Chemical Consulting, global silicon wafer shipments will increase by 5% year-on-year in 2024. At the same time, between 2023 and 2025, the global semiconductor industry is expected to put 82 new wafer fabs into operation, including 44 projects in 2024 and 25 projects in 2025. The investment in these new projects will further promote the growth of demand for semiconductor silicon wafers.
