Global semiconductor silicon wafer sales continue to grow, with the Chinese market performing outstandingly

According to the "China Semiconductor Silicon Wafer Annual Report 2024", between 2016 and 2023, global semiconductor silicon wafer (excluding SOI) sales increased from US$7.209 billion to US$12.129 billion, with an average annual compound growth rate of 7.72%. Among them, mainland China's semiconductor silicon wafer sales increased from US$500 million to US$1.732 billion, with an average annual compound growth rate of 19.43%, exceeding the global average. It is expected that the global semiconductor silicon wafer market will continue to expand in the next few years, and may reach US$16.02 billion by 2029.
