Corestar Semiconductor announced that its new epitaxial equipment has been officially put into production, covering the full material system of quaternary compounds of gallium arsenide (GaAs) and indium phosphide (InP) optical chips. At present, the company has successfully achieved mass production of epitaxial wafers with a wavelength range of 760nm to 1700nm, and the epitaxial uniformity is controlled within 2nm outside the lasing center wavelength. In addition, laser chip epitaxial wafers with typical wavelengths, such as 808, 850, 905, 940, 1064, 1550, and 1654nm, have been successfully verified in VCSEL or DFB chips in independent production lines.
