According to the Anti-Monopoly Law, if a company violates its promise during an acquisition and its behavior has the effect of excluding or restricting competition, it may face a fine of up to 10% of its sales in the previous year. Industry insiders estimate that based on Nvidia's revenue of $10.4 billion in China in 2023, Nvidia may face a fine of $100 million to $1 billion. If Nvidia's behavior is deemed particularly serious, the fine may double to 5 times, up to $2 billion to $5 billion.
