Continental and Telechips cooperate on high-performance computing unit

Telechips, a South Korean semiconductor company, provides Continental with its Dolphin series of system-on-chips for pre-integrated functions in Continental's intelligent cockpit high-performance computing unit (HPC). This series of chips provides ideal system performance for visualization of instruments, infotainment and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). With the new hardware, an optimal balance can be achieved between performance, cost and development time. The intelligent cockpit high-performance computing unit is designed for a typical cockpit setup with a driver display and a central display, while supporting driver assistance systems with up to five cameras.
