Tesla plans to build fifth overseas factory in Monterrey, Mexico

In the first half of this year, Tesla, the global electric car giant, bet on Monterrey, Mexico, and announced plans to build its fifth overseas factory there. It is reported that the Monterrey factory will become the main production force of Tesla in the next stage, with an investment of more than US$5 billion, a planned production capacity of 1 million vehicles, and an area 20 times that of Tesla's Shanghai factory.
