Swedish battery maker Northvolt is in talks with Chinese battery maker CATL

Swedish battery maker Northvolt is reportedly in talks to partner with Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd. (CATL), the world’s largest electric vehicle battery maker. The two companies have been discussing a possible partnership since the summer, with representatives from both sides meeting at CATL’s headquarters in Ningde, China.
