Automotive chip price war has significant impact

In the automotive chip sector, the impact of the price war is equally evident. For example, the price of electronic stability program (ESP) chips has dropped to 10 yuan (1.41 U.S. dollars) per chip, and the ESP chip manufactured by Texas Instruments has dropped from 1,500 yuan (211 U.S. dollars) a year ago to 12 yuan (1.69 U.S. dollars). The price of its TPS5120000DRCR chip has also dropped from 70 yuan (9.87 U.S. dollars) to 1 yuan (0.14 U.S. dollars). However, industry sources pointed out that the price of a single chip or component cannot be used to measure the overall situation because prices will fluctuate between different suppliers and sales channels, supply and demand balances, and order volumes.
