RoboSense is working hard to reduce the cost of LiDAR and improve manufacturability. Through cooperation with car companies, RoboSense plans to make MX standard for 200,000 models and optional for 150,000 models. RoboSense believes that it is still difficult for models below 150,000 to use its LiDAR. The new generation of automotive-grade medium- and long-range LiDAR MX, this LiDAR is equipped with the self-developed SoC chip M-Core and a proprietary 2D MEMS scanning chip. It is priced below $200 and is expected to further reduce costs. RoboSense's goal is to allow cars priced at 150,000 yuan to be equipped with LiDAR, so that more consumers can enjoy the safer and more convenient smart travel experience brought by high-end intelligent driving.
