Microchip and NVIDIA Collaborate to Advance Real-Time Edge AI in Automotive Applications

Microchip Technology Inc. has launched the PolarFire® FPGA Ethernet sensor bridge based on the NVIDIA Holoscan platform, designed to accelerate the deployment of real-time edge AI technology. The solution supports multiple protocols, including MIPI® CSI-2® and MIPI D-PHY℠, for a variety of automotive sensors. In addition, it can be seamlessly connected with the NVIDIA IGX and Jetson platforms to provide strong support for automotive AI and robotics. PolarFire FPGA, with its high energy efficiency, low latency communication and security features, provides new possibilities for AI applications in the automotive industry.
