AU Optronics established a wholly owned subsidiary, AU Optronics Smart Mobile Co., Ltd.

AUO announced on November 21 that it would merge its original smart mobility business group with BHTC, which it acquired this year, into a newly established 100%-owned subsidiary, AUO Mobility Solution Corporation (AMS). The subsidiary's registered capital is NT$30 billion. AUO's move is to strengthen the development of smart cockpits, and is expected to accelerate resource integration, improve supply chain flexibility, and speed up decision-making efficiency. Due to the need to handle relevant procedures and system settings, the operating base date of the subsidiary is tentatively set as January 1, 2026. The new company has been registered and Ke Furen is the head.
