Li Xiang, CEO of Ideal Auto, said in a conference call that before the three pure electric SUVs are launched next year, two conditions must be met: one is to have enough self-operated supercharging piles; the other is to add or upgrade more store booths. Li Xiang believes that for mid-to-high-end pure electric SUVs, the number of self-operated supercharging piles must be similar to that of Tesla China to ensure the successful launch of the product. In addition, to support the monthly sales of new models exceeding 10,000, about 500-600 fixed booths will need to be added across the country.
