Geely Auto deepens chip technology research and development

In 2019, Geely Auto established a joint venture with ARM China to form CoreEngine Technology, which focuses on the research and development of smart cockpit and intelligent driving chips. In December 2021, CoreEngine Technology released the first 7-nanometer smart cockpit chip "Dragon Eagle No. 1", and in March 2024, it released the intelligent driving SoC chip AD1000. In addition, Geely also established Guangdong Xinyue Semiconductor Co., Ltd. in a joint venture with Core Energy Semiconductor to develop and manufacture silicon carbide chips for automotive and industrial control fields.
