Renesas Electronics R-Car X5H SoC Leads Industry Change

The R-Car X5H SoC launched by Renesas Electronics has become the industry's first highly integrated and secure processing solution that supports multiple in-vehicle functional domains on a single chip with its unique hardware isolation technology. In addition, this new SoC also provides the option of expanding artificial intelligence (AI) and graphics processing performance through Chiplet technology. Renesas Electronics' R-Car X5H SoC is manufactured using TSMC's most advanced 3nm process node, which achieves higher CPU performance while reducing power consumption by 30-35% compared to products designed with 5nm process nodes.
