Socionext joins hands with Arm and TSMC to develop 2nm multi-core CPU chips based on chiplets

Socionext, together with Arm and TSMC, has jointly developed a 32-core CPU chip based on Chiplet technology, using TSMC's 2nm process technology, designed to provide high performance and efficiency for hyperscale data center servers, 5/6G infrastructure, DPU and edge network markets. Engineering samples are expected to be released in the first half of 2025. The CPU uses Arm® Neoverse™ Compute Subsystem (CSS) technology, supports flexible single or multi-instantiation, and is equipped with IO and specific customized chipsets to meet the diverse needs of multiple target applications.
