According to data released by mobile phone chip giant MediaTek, revenue in October 2024 reached NT$51.17 billion, a month-on-month increase of 14.42% and a year-on-year increase of 19.4%, setting a new monthly record in the past 25 months. This growth is mainly due to the large-scale adoption of its latest flagship mobile phone chip Dimensity 9400. It is reported that the average unit price of Dimensity 9400 is about US$150, which is lower than the US$200 of its competitor Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition. Therefore, it has a higher cost-effectiveness and has attracted many customers to adopt it. For example, the vivo X200 series, OPPO Find X8 series, and Redmi K80 series flagship phones all use the Dimensity 9400 chip.
