Altera faces huge market opportunities and actively expands into other markets

Altera CEO Sandra Rivera said that since its main competitor Xilinx has been acquired by AMD, and other FPGA companies are focusing on low-end or specific market segments, Altera is facing huge market opportunities. However, what is more important is that Altera itself should be able to provide customers with diversified services. Therefore, while 80% of its sales and more than 50% of its demand are achieved through channel partners, Altera is also redoubling its efforts to expand other markets.
