TSMC changes its stance and plans to introduce High-NA EUV lithography technology

After months of controversy, TSMC seems to have changed its position. At least ASML spokesperson Monique Morse said that the company will deliver $380 million worth of High-NA EUV lithography machines to TSMC this year. The news caused ASML's stock price to rise by more than 6% after the opening. Intel announced in 2022 that it would purchase five such devices for the production of Intel 18A chips in 2025.
