Toyota joins hands with Huawei and Momenta to promote intelligent driving solutions for global models

Toyota Motor Corporation recently announced that the intelligent driving solution for its global models will adopt a three-party joint solution model of "Toyota + Huawei + Momenta". Huawei and Momenta will provide hardware and software solutions respectively, and the three will cooperate deeply and integrate. It is reported that Toyota may adopt a component model with relatively low participation of Huawei. Previously, Toyota's cooperation with Huawei was mainly concentrated in the field of smart cockpits. For example, Toyota's recently launched ninth-generation Camry is equipped with a car-machine system jointly developed with Huawei. At the same time, Toyota also has a close cooperative relationship with Momenta. As early as March 2020, Momenta reached a strategic partnership with Toyota to provide Toyota with high-precision maps and real-time update services.
