Application of large language models in autonomous driving

91
Large language models (LLMs), which were originally revolutionary in the field of natural language processing (NLP), are now also driving innovation in autonomous driving (AD). For example, the BERT model uses a transformer architecture to achieve a deep understanding of language semantics, while OpenAI's generative pre-trained transformer (GPT) series has attracted much attention due to its training on large-scale datasets and huge number of parameters. The reasoning and learning capabilities of these models make them have great potential in the field of autonomous driving, and can perform a range of tasks such as object detection, scene understanding, and decision making.
