Mercedes-Benz accelerates the construction of its R&D team in China to meet the challenges of MB.OS software development

Mercedes-Benz is expanding its R&D team in China, especially the software and smart cockpit team, so that the Chinese team can take on more MB.OS software development tasks. MB.OS is a smart cockpit system developed by Mercedes-Benz for the next generation of electric vehicles, aiming to catch up with the more advanced electric vehicle software architecture on the market. However, the development progress of the system has fallen behind. Previously, Mercedes-Benz's R&D team in Germany was mainly responsible for the development of MB.OS, and the Chinese team was auxiliary. Now many related R&D projects have been transferred to China one after another.
