Tianma Microelectronics and Garmin collaborate to develop next-generation digital cockpit

Tianma Microelectronics and Garmin have collaborated to develop a new generation of digital cockpit solutions - Garmin Unified Cabin 2025. The solution uses six Tianma displays, which extend from the dashboard to the center console in the front row. It adopts a super-connected screen design, consisting of a 15.6-inch instrument screen and a 27-inch center console screen, and the two screens are bonded together under a glass cover. Tianma's 27-inch LTPS TFT-LCD display uses SFT ultra-wide viewing angle technology, with a resolution of up to 4032x756 and a brightness of 1000nits; the 15.6-inch display also uses SFT technology, with a resolution of 1920x1080, presenting high-definition picture quality and a brightness of 1000nits.
