The solid-state battery developed by ION Storage Systems in Maryland, USA, has attracted the attention of the US military. Currently, the company is working with the US Department of Defense to develop and test its solid-state batteries, which are expected to be used in the military field first. After the success of the pilot program, ION Storage Systems has reached a multi-year ceramic powder supply agreement with multinational giant Saint-Gobain Ceramics to expand the production scale of its anode-free, compression-free solid-state batteries.
