Apple and Broadcom collaborate on AI chip, codenamed Baltra

Apple and Broadcom are working together to develop a new AI chip, codenamed Baltra. This chip is designed specifically for servers and is expected to be released as early as 2026. Apple began planning to use its own chips to process AI tasks in the cloud about three years ago. They intend to integrate AI chips into cloud computing servers to meet the growing demand for complex AI task processing.
