Great Wall Motors launches direct-sale service brand

In April this year, Great Wall Motors launched a direct-operated service brand "Great Wall Smart Selection", which was first tested in its two major brands Wei and Tank. By the end of this year, about 200 retail centers will be established. Great Wall Motors' move is aimed at expanding sales channels and increasing brand awareness and market share. Xiaopeng Motors launched the "Jupiter Plan" in September last year to adjust the proportion of the two channel models of direct sales and authorized franchise. The core measure is to gradually replace the direct sales model with the dealer model. However, the disadvantages caused by this move are also obvious, including inconsistent pricing, high pressure on dealers, and inconsistent service standards.
