Samsung Electronics wins AI chip production order from Japanese AI company Preferred Networks

Samsung Electronics recently announced that it has reached an agreement with Japanese AI startup Preferred Networks (PFN) to produce AI chips for it. These chips will use Samsung Electronics' 2nm wafer process technology and 2.5D Interposer-Cube S (I-Cube S) packaging services. This is the first time Samsung has publicly announced its 2nm process wafer foundry order.
