On October 20, 2020, CoreEngine Technology was officially launched in Wuhan. Geely Holding Group and Arm have a consistent view on the development of China's automotive semiconductors, and have common goals and expectations. As a result, Ecarx Technology, a strategic investment of Geely Holding Group, and Arm China jointly invested in the establishment of CoreEngine Technology, and formulated long-term R&D and mass production plans around the fields of automotive chips such as smart cockpits, autonomous driving, and microcontrollers.
