BMW 4S stores in many parts of the country have temporarily required consumers to pay extra fees before they can pick up their cars. In response to this series of incidents, the BMW headquarters customer service center responded that if consumers are dissatisfied with the dealer's handling, the headquarters is willing to assist consumers in giving feedback. The incident began after BMW announced its withdrawal from the price war. Some BMW 4S stores in Chongqing, Zhengzhou, Shenzhen, Suzhou, Dongguan and other cities were accused of refusing to deliver vehicles at the original contract price, requiring consumers to pay additional fees ranging from thousands to tens of thousands of yuan, otherwise they would not pick up the car.
