Qualcomm and ARM's licensing agreement crisis resolved

Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon announced that ARM Holdings has withdrawn its threat to terminate Qualcomm's licensing agreement with its technology providers. Last October, ARM threatened to terminate its licensing agreement with Qualcomm due to a dispute over Qualcomm's personal computer chip technology. In December last year, Qualcomm won the dispute. During Qualcomm's quarterly earnings call on Wednesday, Amon said that ARM has withdrawn its threat and has "no current plans" to terminate Qualcomm's licensing agreement with ARM.
