Maxell, a large Japanese company, announced that it will start mass production of all-solid-state batteries in 2026. The new battery will adopt a cylindrical design with a diameter of about 23 mm and a height of about 27 mm. The capacity is 25 times higher than the micro-square battery that will start mass production in June 2023, reaching 200 mAh. This battery can withstand high temperatures of 125 degrees Celsius and can operate for about 10 years without maintenance.
