Joyson Electronics invests in Black Sesame Intelligent to promote the development of autonomous driving

Joyson Electronics is a supplier of automotive electronics and automotive safety products in mainland China. After acquiring KSS and Takata in 2016 and 2018 and merging them to form Joyson Safety, it has become the world's second largest automotive safety supplier. Among them, automotive electronics focuses on smart cockpits, smart driving domain controllers, vehicle-road collaboration 5G+C-V2X, new energy high-voltage fast charging and other product layouts. In the V2X field, it is one of the world's first leading suppliers to achieve mass production in the 5G vehicle connection field. It is in a global leading position in the vehicle-side 5G+V2X modules, integrated digital smart antenna solutions and "ADAS+V2X fusion" and other market segments. The automotive safety business is actively promoting active and passive safety products and technologies for future intelligent driving, including folding wire-controlled steering wheels and roof-mounted passenger airbags for autonomous driving, leaping airbags that adapt to the large screen of smart electric vehicles, and smart steering wheels. In 2019, Joyson Electronics completed the reorganization of Joyson Intelligent Driving and Joyson Qunying, and established the Intelligent Automobile Technology Research Institute and the New Energy Research Institute in 2021. In the field of autonomous driving, in addition to this cornerstone investment in Black Sesame, Joyson Electronics also cooperates with Qualcomm and Horizon Robotics.
