Zhixin Semiconductor's SiC module production line is put into operation

Zhixin Semiconductor recently announced that it has made significant progress in the construction of its SiC module packaging production line. As a strategic partner of Dongfeng's full-system new energy vehicles, the company's IGBT module project plans to carry out the second-phase production line construction project based on the 300,000-unit production capacity of its first-phase project. The project is located in Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone, with a total investment of approximately 163 million yuan. The project started construction on May 8, 2023, was completed on January 4, 2024, and was put into operation in April 2024. It is expected that the new production capacity will be 380,000 IGBT modules per year and 20,000 IGBT modules (SiC modules) per year, with a total capacity of 700,000 modules per year.
