According to people familiar with the matter, Leapmotor is splitting its intelligent team, which mainly includes intelligent driving solutions, intelligent cockpits and other departments related to intelligence, and the speed is relatively fast. It will soon move out of the original office location and establish an independent new company for intelligent driving solutions, which is expected to be next to Leapmotor's Hangzhou building. As of June 30, 2024, Leapmotor has a total of 10,844 employees, and the size of the intelligent team split this time is close to 1,000 people.
