Ecarx Technology and AMD Collaborate to Build a High-Performance Intelligent Cockpit In-Vehicle Computing Platform

Ecarx Technology, a company with rich experience in automotive intelligent cockpit design and mass production, has launched the Ecarx Makalu computing platform in collaboration with AMD. The platform leverages the powerful performance of AMD Ryzen Embedded V2000 processors and AMD Radeon RX 6000 series GPUs to provide up to 394K DMIPS of computing power and 10.1T FLOPS of graphics rendering capabilities, supporting up to 32GB of independent memory and 8GB of independent video memory. The first model equipped with this platform is expected to start mass production in the second half of 2024.
