Melexis and BMW work together to deeply analyze ToF technology to enable smart cockpits

As a partner of BMW, a world-renowned automobile manufacturer, Melexis provides ToF sensor technology for its cockpit monitoring. Melexis, a global supplier of Belgian microelectronic semiconductor solutions, has extensive experience in the field of time-of-flight (ToF) technology. Melexis began the research and development and design of ToF sensors in 2004, and in 2015 it was the first to provide the industry with ToF sensor chips that meet automotive requirements. In September 2020, Melexis released the latest third-generation ToF sensor chip MLX75026 with QVGA resolution, and passed the AEC-Q100 automotive-grade certification.
