Toshiba's automotive semiconductors are mainly divided into two parts: large-scale integrated circuits and discrete devices. Discrete devices are mainly used in low-voltage brushed and brushless motor drives in traditional fuel vehicles, as well as optoelectronic isolation, voltage balancing and high-voltage motor drives for high-voltage battery packs in new energy vehicles; Toshiba is a mainstream supplier of low-voltage MOS and high-voltage IGBT devices, and has accumulated rich experience in the field of silicon carbide devices. In the field of automotive electronics, Toshiba provides motor drive products, including brushed motors, three-phase brushless motors and stepper motor drives. These products are widely used in air-conditioning fans, electric power steering, thermal management electronic water pumps and valves, head-up displays and other functional controls. Ethernet solutions are also provided to meet the needs of intelligent communications such as vehicle interconnection. In the field of new energy vehicles, we also provide products such as photorelays and MOS for applications such as high-voltage battery pack management and motor control. In the main drive and auxiliary drive inverters, Toshiba will mainly provide IGBT chips, and will also launch SiC chips and corresponding power modules in the future.
