HBM4 standard is about to be released

The new HBM4 standard will specify 24 Gb and 32 Gb layers and provide 4-high, 8-high, 12-high and 16-high TSV stack configurations. According to the committee's discussion, they have preliminarily agreed to set the speed box up to 6.4 GT/s, and are currently discussing how to achieve higher data transfer rates. This will further enhance the performance of HBM and meet higher levels of AI and computing needs.
