Harman changes president and CEO

Harman announced on March 12, 2025 that Michael Mauser will step down as president and CEO on March 31, and Christian Sobottka, current president of Harman International Automotive Division, will take over on April 1. Michael Mauser led the company to complete the acquisition of Samsung, increased revenue to $11 billion, and orders reached $45 billion. Christian Sobottka has 25 years of experience in the international automotive industry and served as a senior executive at Bosch. After joining Harman, he promoted the business's transformation to a product and software model and innovated the experience of the smart cockpit.
