Xiaomi's new trademark hints at chip development progress

Xiaomi Technology Co., Ltd. recently applied for the "XRING O2" trademark, indicating that the second generation of its self-developed chip "Xuan Ring" is under development. Although the United States has imposed new export controls on China, restricting access to EDA tools, Xiaomi's existing EDA tools and IP contracts should be able to meet its R&D needs.
