Samsung Electronics sets target bandwidth exceeding 3TB/s for HBM4E mass production in 2027

Samsung Electronics plans to increase the bandwidth of its seventh-generation high-bandwidth memory (HBM4E) to over 3TB/s, with mass production expected in 2027. This target bandwidth is 2.5 times that of the current fifth-generation (HBM3E). Samsung Electronics also stated that HBM4E will be more than twice as energy efficient as HBM3E.
