Micro-resonant optical MEMS acoustic sensors detect sound waves by measuring phase differences, wavelength differences, and light intensity changes caused by changes in refractive index. While they show great potential for underwater sound wave detection, they also face challenges such as a narrow operating frequency band and fragile structure.
