Qualcomm launches new AI chip to enter the data center market

Qualcomm recently released two AI chips for data centers—the AI200 and AI250—along with accompanying accelerator cards and rack-mount solutions. Both chips are based on Qualcomm's Hexagon NPU technology, support common AI frameworks, and are designed to optimize AI inference performance. The AI200 is expected to be commercially available in 2026, while the AI250 will be launched in 2027.
