Proton, Malaysia's first national brand, once faced development bottlenecks due to lagging technological iteration. However, with the support of Geely Holding Group, Proton has achieved a leap from technology import to independent research and development, launching the Proton X70 based on the Geely Boyue, as well as the e.MAS series models equipped with a customized intelligent connectivity system from Chinese supplier ECARX.
