Intel and Tata Electronics have signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen their collaboration in the semiconductor and systems manufacturing sector in India. The two companies will explore a range of cooperation opportunities, including consumer and enterprise hardware development, as well as semiconductor and systems manufacturing. A core objective of this collaboration is to investigate the possibility of using Tata Electronics' semiconductor packaging foundries and wafer fabs to manufacture and package Intel products in India.
