FAW Group's R&D Center announced that the first prototype of its independently developed all-solid-state battery for the Hongqi brand has successfully rolled off the production line. The project, which lasted 470 days, achieved breakthroughs in core areas such as sulfide electrolytes, high-voltage packaging, and system integration. The Hongqi all-solid-state battery utilizes sulfide all-solid-state battery technology, achieving industry-leading ionic conductivity in its sulfide electrolyte, significantly improving ion conduction efficiency. The 66Ah cell boasts an energy density of 380Wh/kg, far exceeding current mainstream liquid lithium batteries.
