Chery Automobile will launch its high-end new energy brand Lepas in the UK.

According to Reuters, Chery Automobile plans to launch its premium new energy vehicle brand, Lepas, in the UK. The UK currently does not impose tariffs on Chinese-made electric vehicles, providing new market opportunities for Chinese automakers. Chery already has several brands in the UK, and its sales reached 53,604 units last year, a 14-fold increase year-on-year.
