Tesla appoints new Director of Autopilot Engineering

Tesla recently made internal personnel changes, promoting Phil Duan, the software lead for FSD V14 and Robotaxi, to Director of Autopilot Engineering. This appointment is seen by the industry as a significant step for Tesla to strengthen its localized technology development in China and accelerate the deployment of Full Self-Driving (FSD) in the country.
