WeRide and Geely Remote New Energy Commercial Vehicle Group announced a deepened strategic partnership and launched the newly upgraded pre-installed mass-production Robotaxi GXR. The model is planned to deliver 2,000 units globally by 2026, marking an acceleration in the commercialization of Level 4 autonomous driving. The core of this upgrade is WeRide's GEN8 autonomous driving suite, equipped with its self-developed Sensor Suite 8.0 sensor suite.
