Canadian auto sales declined in the first quarter of 2026.

In the first quarter of 2026, the Canadian auto market sold 406,000 vehicles, a 4.4% decrease year-over-year. March sales reached 170,000 vehicles, an 8.2% decrease year-over-year, the lowest level since September 2025.
