Telechips' overseas sales increased by 27% last year

Telechips' overseas sales increased significantly by 27% year-on-year last year, thanks to its focus on the semiconductor business, especially the application processors (AP) for audio, video and navigation (AVN) systems. The company said that the growth of the in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) market has led to an increase in semiconductor supply to domestic and foreign automobile and military vehicle manufacturers. Among them, sales of new application semiconductor products increased by 120%, and revenue from AVN semiconductor business increased by 26%. Last year, Telechips signed a supply contract with Continental AG of Germany and started cooperation to develop high-performance smart cockpits.
